Book Party

I started selling the greatest kid books ever! The Usborne books. I love them and the best part is that Craig loves them too. I'm going to be having a book party this week and there is an E-Show so if anyone wants to get some books online you can do that too. Seriousely they are the greatest, and most of them are under $10.00!

You can go to this link if you want to be part of my E-Show.
www.ubah.com/HOS120312

You can also enter to win $50 in free books and all sorts of other stuff that I actually haven't even had time to explore. So if you find anything cool let me know.

They also have a great deal this month. I am kinda bummed because I wish I would have signed up this month instead of last. This month if you sign up to be a consultant you get a $450.00 kit for $99.00. Such a great deal.

This party will end on July 30th so if you do want to get stuff do it before then. Thanks. If it's after the 30th you can visit my site with this link. http://www.ubah.com/v2769

family pictures

Family pictures are always a fun experience with our family. Dispite our best efforts there is always something fun and laughable about how things end up. We end up with fond memories and some pretty funny pictures though. we had the camera on a tripod and then we'd put it on a timer and try to get all the little kids to smile at that blinking light. Not so successful.

This is just the time for camera troubles I guess because half the time the tripods little adjustable neck that was holding the camera up would slide down right before it snapped the picture so everyone in the back would have their heads chopped off.

Because of all the squirmy kids everyone was bouncing around trying to keep them from screaming so our careful positioning to be in the picture and see every ones face wasn't always so successful either.

So by the time patience ran out and kids were done we had a handful of pictures and well, I might have to do some photo reconstruction. :)

Here's one of the better ones. (Yes my son is sucking on a rock.)

Why walk when you can run?

So this is about 2 weeks old now and outdated again but here's a fun one of craig learning to walk.
I had some more darling videos and pictures... But they were victims of the lost picture episode! If only I could go back in time. It is just so stupid and it was one of those things that shouldn't have ever even happened! (for more explanation see the end of the "welcome home" post)

Welcome Home!

I'm so excited! My brother Ammon got home from his mission to Mexico on Thursday! It is so wonderful to have him back. He has always been a wonderful person, but as a mission will, it has changed him. He is an inspiration to me to want to be better and a kinder person.

We went to the airport to pick him up on Wednesday night 10:45pm and just as we were pulling into the airport the bishop called to tell us that the plane had some technical issues and he wouldn't be home till 8am the next morning. We were all rather deflated and trudged home to wait the night out.

Bright and early the next morning we all repeated the trip. We all piled in the motor home and put our name tags on. Each family member had a tag that said their name in Spanish like this...
Craig-o, Celeste-o, mom-o, K.C.-o.

It was pretty funny. We also had a very large sign that said "welcome" in Spanish - sort of. It said:
Be-M-be-knee-though
eng: welcome
the Spanish word is actually "Bienvenido" but it sounds like "Be-M-be-knee-though." It was very fun. We took pictures of everything. We even had a picture of him coming out of the very very small plane. But I have a very sad story to tell.
So I put all the pictures on my computer. And then because we were going to try to get family pictures I deleted them all off my camera so there would be room. But when I got back to look at all of them they were NOT on my computer! I was so sad! they were just GONE. About 250 pictures of Ammon coming home and some way cute ones of Craig all gone! I just feel so sick inside. That's not the kind of thing you can do again. It was so sad. I still feel horrible every time I think about it.

Singing

Craig discovered the Karaoke machine! It was pretty cute to hear all the funny little noises that he would make. He sat there singing to us for quite some time. This is a little clip that we got.

So I realized that I've missed a lot of things that I wanted to post lately so instead of posting one very long one, for the ease of navigation I'm going to make several small posts.

New Blog

Okay, So I decided to be creative. I wanted to have a blog design/template that was "all our own" so I designed the way our blog looks now! I'm still trying to decide if it needs something else or what to do with it. But I kind of like the simple... I don't know. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Arms Up!

Craig has been learning how to read with the "Your Baby Can Read" program. It is the coolest thing ever. He's only seen it 5 or 6 times and already if he sees the word 'clap' he'll clap before anyone tells him what it says. The same with 'arms up' he'll throw his arms in the air before the word is read to him. I am so amazed.

He was having fun with his new tricks today so I filmed him a little. (he's not reading here, just doing the actions).

For some reason he hasn't ever clapped till yesterday, he has snapped his fingers and done other things that I thought would come after clapping. But now that he's started, he sure gets a kick out it. And 'arms up!'... as you have seen.

Fireworks

Happy 4th of July!

I am by no means a photographer but I managed to get a few good shots of the fireworks here.

Laughing

This was hilarious! I was dying. Elle was batting a toy off of Craig's highchair and he was cracking up. This was all very funny, but then at the end he was laughing so hard that he burped! Oh my goodness, maybe it was just the fun of the moment but you have to watch it. It might seem a little long but it's totally worth it. (well I think so anyways) enjoy!

Outdated!

So K.C. has developed a huge "tool box" of computer stuff over his 8 or so years in the industry. Mostly Cd's, Dvd's and floppys full of drivers, programs and all sorts of other things that you'd need for computers.

This "tool box" took up an entire suitecase (about the largest size that you could have as a carry on). Last night we decided it was time to go through it and decide how much of it was actually that useful.
It was about midnight when we started and 2am when we finished but by golly we had fun and we threw away a ton of CD's and floppys. Out of the whole mess we probably kept 20.

I've never had hundreds of CD's that I didn't care about to play with. I felt like a little kid. It was so funny. We were building towers, throwing them around, K.C. even made a CD angel. Dear me it was hilarious!

Fun times, fun times. I guess sometimes kids never grow up.
