Lovely Locks

Since I'm a little behind on the monthly updates here's a little history of Savannah's hair. It seems to be growing SO SLOWLY but at least she does have some hair. But then again when I compare the May picture to November's...  I feel better about it. I was cutting bangs for her but I couldn't keep up. I felt like I had to cut them every week or so. So now I'm letting them grow out. But they're not quite long enough to pull back yet but just long enough to hang in her eyes!

 April:

 May:

 June:

Her bangs don't really go that far back... Promise! I was behind her doing her hair and when it was done I realized I'd missed half her hair!

July:

 August
 The crazy lady!

 September

See that cowlick in the back? Poor child she got cursed with one just like mine. It looks like the right side is at least an inch shorter than the other if her hair is short. (just like mine) So short hair cuts are... challenging.

October:
(notice the collection of toothbrushes! She loves to find and then LOOSE our toothbrushes)

 (and apparently use them too...)

It's good to know she's not starving either, there are lots evidence from all the food on her face (and of course her chunky little legs ;)

November:
Oh the bangs! But they will grow.

(there's that dirty face again! :)
And there you have it. I'm glad that my fear is not infact a reality. I was afraid that all my boys would have the hair right off (like Craig) and that my girls would be bald.

Although Savannah did loose her hair at first she didn't stay bald.

Love my little munchkin!

Grandpas

Story time with Grandpa Hunt. We don't live close enough for Craig to get to do this this very often but he sure enjoyed it!

We had a good time in AZ.

Grandpa's are the best. And Craig is lucky enough to have the 2 best ones out there!

Father and Sons - May

In May Craig went on a father and sons outing. He calls it his 'greatest adventure' And he still talks about it. Him and K.C. had a great time together. I love it when he gets to do fun things with his daddy. They're good buddies. I hope it always stays that way!

While they were playing by the little lake they found "specks" you know little fuzz balls that have "Who's" living on them! He still has a few in his room and we pulled a clover out of our grass one time he had to go running into his room and grab a speck with his best friend on it to live on the special home. He carried it around for days... or at least untill the colver was to too wilted to hold a speck anymore.

Next!

It might surprise some of you to find that Craig has not in fact been fishing for the last 5 months! And with any luck you'll see some posts soon to prove it!

Craigs Fish

Last time Ang and Nate were here they took the kids fishing. Craig had never gone and was thoroughly captivated by it all.

Two happy boys!

Craig caught a fish! He was SO excited.

Nate held it for him to see:

He was so pleased that he just kept making little noises and hopping around. He wouldn't touch it but he was so happy he couldn't contain himself!

Craig thought that we were going to cook it up and eat it but it ended up that Craig's fish went home with Ang and Nate. He was pretty irritated with Nate when he found out. So to make it up to him when they came back Nate brought a bunch of fish from Lake Powel and cooked him up one special (of about the same size) So he could have "his fish!" I think it worked Craig seemed to be satisfied.

Flash Back - K.C.'s Birthday

Remember a while ago when I remembered I had a birthday? Turns out K.C. had one too! haha. Imagine that!

We had lots of fun on a low (wait a NO) budget.  :)

The twins and Wanda came for a sleepover and did a number on the house in the middle of the night. It was awesome!

Craig was a little tired. We had a hard time waking him up for the festivities!

We have a tradition of putting up crepe paper for the birthday person to run through...

K.C. never does anything 'half way' :)

Then we went to Kite Festival and partied there. Craig got to sit in the fire truck and loved it...

But I must admit I was surprised to find that Savannah was the one who refused to get out! Silly girl.

My Parents. This is the picture of true love right here. My dad took this recliner and converted it into a wheelchair for my mom so that she could be comfortable wherever they went. That's just one example of the love that these two share. They inspire me with their undying devotion and love for each other! Love you parents! (And it makes a pretty good granddaughter magnet too! :)

Watching these two together makes my heart happy! I love my boys.

This was Craigs reaction when the band started playing his favorite song from 'Cars.' "Life is a highway." He was so happy!

All the partying was exhausting for the little ones!

 My hot hubby!

Life is so good when we're all together!
 Haha! Oh Savannah!

Then we opened his presents:

And he got some help with the candles!

Happy Birthday K.C. It was a fun day! Hope you know how much we all love you! You're the best!
